We invite you to experience the past and the present of Zagreb by passing through the streets of the Lower and Upper Town, by visiting the famous arcades and sculptures of Mirogoj Park Cemetery, by entering inside the Zagreb Cathedral or by taking in the everyday lively atmosphere of Dolac Market. You will be accompanied by celebrated personalities from Zagreb’s past - August Senoa, a novelist, and Marija Juric Zagorka, a novelist and the fi rst Croatian lady-journalist. Our walk through the streets of the Upper Town will take us toSt. Mark’s Church, a symbol of Zagreb, to the best view of Zagreb standing under the Lotrscak Tower and on to the Stone Gate where we light a candle. Only in Zagreb is noon announced by the cannon fi ring from the Lotrscak Tower and city parks are arranged in the form of a horseshoe. Zagreb has Maksimir, the oldest public cultivated parkin Europe and Zagrebs’ Archaeological Museum is proud to present the mummy with the longest Etruscan epitaph. The journey through Zagreb’s heritage and tradition will be enhanced by the unique taste of pepper biscuits and a visit to the old Upper Town Zagreb Café.

Situated in a thick forest, Plitvice Lakes are considered one of the most beautiful natural phenomena in the world. The 16 lakes are connected by 92 waterfalls, cascading through the picturesque surroundings. Plitvice Lakes were declared a National Park in 1949, and since 1979, they have been on UNESCO’s list of World Natural Heritage. The parks attractions also include several caves and the varied fl ora and fauna. A guided tour of the park lasts about two and a half hours, mostly on foot, but also includes a short boat ride.
