Fazana is a tourist destination and small harbour close to ancient Pula. It is protected from unfavourable winds by the Brijuni archipelago. Its ancient name Vasianum, derives from the production of oil and wine amphorae during the Roman period. Fazana is the starting point for people visiting the Brijuni National Park.
